How is a CEB domestic bill calculated?
Consumption is charged in blocks — low-user (≤60 units/month) and ordinary tariffs have different block rates — plus a fixed monthly charge that depends on your total consumption, with SSCL added. This calculator applies the current PUCSL-approved tariff.
Why did my per-unit rate jump so much?
Once monthly usage crosses a block boundary (e.g. 60, 90, 120 or 180 units), all further units are charged at the higher block rate, and your fixed charge tier can also change.
